Hello..just checking around..the quote by Mencken is interesting to me (his connection with W.J. Bryan is interesting to read on)..the quote is interesting to me only when it is tongue in cheek..the reality of what is said there is a reason to recognize things and deal with them..forgetting politics..I will always think it is a shame..anything is hungry..anything is thirsty..or degraded so by having to drink fouled water..that any species is used exploitively without having the opportunity to live fully and thus contribute..the resources spent and the total cost of war is inexcusable..I will not be ‘beating a dead horse’ until war is a forgotten memory..here is a quote I did the other night after conversing with C. ‘Facing the greatest temptation or stiff adversity is a worthy challenge when met with honor’..with that..I shall play some music..have a wonderful day..Peace Tony

Hi, we live north of San Diego on the coast, but live on the edge of a canyon and have many trails and a lake nearby at Mt. Calavera. – This is good since we have a rescue mutt. Loners, writers, photography and hiking around. Are you out 94? Dulzura, perhaps? All nice country out there. Like the handcuffs, I’m a CSI, Burn Notice, NCIS and Law and Order fan – not into the other stuff either.

Well, hi! We’re a bit north and higher up in elevation than 94 and Dulzura, but not very far as the crow flies. It is a gorgeous area. Good mix of desert, mountains, and the beach is close by, too. All of our cats have been rescues as well. Thanks for writing!

Hi – I cracked up at your “we generally hate people” statement. Living in the crazily overcrowded and busy Baltimore area, Lee and I are always frazzled and frustrated with being out in the masses and talking about how we’d love to move somewhere more remote. We just haven’t figured out how to do that and pay the bills at the same time yet : ).
