Gracie loves eating grass:
Had a snowstorm Thursday night, all day Friday, all Friday night, and into half of Saturday. Some snow-laden pines:
An odd, prickly snow hedgehog:
It was SO nice to have it snow all day Friday, so we could enjoy watching it. Too often, it all happens overnight. First we went out walking in it, then I made onion marmalade, then we played Scrabble, then I took a hot bath. In other words, a perfect day. This was what Friday was like all day:
Oooh – lovely snow photos. Daffodils are so bright and cheery – I’m looking forward to mine blooming. LOL@ Gracie.

I was so happy. Gracie more bites on blades of grass than really eating it.

I was always so happy when the daffodils appeared in our garden in Minnesota. It was like seeing the heralds of spring, and we knew could hold out through the cold and ice just a little bit longer.

I love how they always get buried by at least one snow, but seem none the worse for wear when it melts!

My wife’s daffodils “sprouted” in February (!) and there’s one that has bloomed already.
The snow is beautiful as long as it stays way off to the west! (That storm was actually supposed to bring us some rain, but went north of us instead).
