Last night we watched Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. It was hands down THE funniest thing we’ve seen since Otis and Happiness. Two hillbillies are on vacation at their dilapidated mountain cabin when they are attacked by a group of preppy college kids. We literally laughed so hard we had to stop the movie and catch our breaths a few times.
Labyrinths
The groundbreaking trans-genre work of Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges (1899-1986) has been insinuating itself into the structure, stance, and very breath of world literature for well over half a century. Multi-layered, self-referential, elusive, and allusive writing is now frequently labeled Borgesian. Umberto Eco's international bestseller, The Name of the Rose, is, on one level, an elaborate improvisation on Borges' fiction "The Library," which American readers first encountered in the original 1962 New Directions publication of Labyrinths.

I watched it a few months ago and really liked it too. I watched Dead Snow the other night which kind of reminded me of it but it was more horror, less hilarity but still kinda fun. Nazi zombies in Norway.

Really? Do they do that? I didn’t know. Seems like just about every time I search for something specific (on streaming), it’s not available.
yeah, stuff comes and goes all the time. I am so annoyed at the new format, btw. I used to put all the expiring ones at the top of my queue (now called a List) and sometimes would group them if I was doing a theme month. Now they show the icon for the movie instead of the list (in case you haven’t been on there for a day or so) and there is no way to adjust your queue unless you do it by specific ways of their choosing (by genre, A-Z, Z-A, date you added it) and I AM REALLY ANNOYED. It just seems like they keep making things more and more barebones instead of improving it.
I just checked, and mine still looks the same. But I did just notice under Notes, a couple of my items are marked “Until 3/1/13″ in red. Oh NOES!
Ah, thanks for the movie rec! That sounds great. We need to watch less horror and more comedy.
