I am SO guilty of this!
Not me. I don’t have a smart phone, so I’d stop at “It’s pretty!”
I don’t have a smartphone, thank dog, but I tend to over-research everything until I finally give up and just buy whatever’s on sale at Target. Or like the last panel in the strip, I decide I really don’t need a new clock radio or frying pan or whatever. Online reviews can really kill the fun of shopping!
It’s possible to over-think anything.
I only really research more expensive things. Then I realize I don’t understand half of what people are talking about and don’t really give a shit what someone else thinks of something … so I end up buying what i wanted in the first place.
I’m pretty sure if I had a smartphone the only thing I’d use it for would be price checking at different stores … but then I’d figure the cost of gas from running all around town wouldn’t be worth it.
Sounds like me, too.
We so do this. Although it helps 90 percent of the time, we are guilty of not reciprocating (especially when we’re happy with a product, isn’t that sad?
We do make sure to write reviews for small family B&Bs that took good care of us!
I bet that helps them a lot. B&B’s can’t be great money-makers, and I’m sure they work their butts off.
